Administrative Assistant

Our client, a prominent manufacturer based in Oxnard, CA, is seeking an organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to provide crucial support in a dynamic, fast-paced office setting. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data entry and maintenance of employee records
  • Support basic recruitment tasks and onboarding activities
  • Handle employee inquiries and redirect as appropriate
  • Assist with payroll processing and related tasks
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Occasionally assist with sorting and organizing HR inventory
  • Light physical duties, such as lifting up to 10 lbs, as needed
  • Ensure smooth office operations by supporting team needs

Qualifications:

  • Previous HR experience is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
  • Comfortable using office phone systems and standard office equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong proofreading skills
  • Experience in customer service or front desk roles (e.g., medical receptionist) is a plus
  • Proficiency in office management practices and ability to multi-task effectively

Pay and Shift:

  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • $25.00
