Industrial Maintenance Technician

Our client, an innovative leader in manufacturing and plastics solutions, is looking for a Mold Maintenance Technician to join their team in Oxnard, CA. In this role, you will assemble, maintain, and repair injection molds to ensure optimal production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, maintain, and repair injection molds using tools and testing instruments per specifications and schematics.
  
• Conduct visual inspections and tests on molds using electronic test equipment.
  
• Diagnose and resolve issues with molds, consulting with supervisors or maintenance teams as needed.
  
• Inspect and measure parts to identify wear, misalignment, or other problems.
  
• Replace defective mold parts, clean mold components, and lubricate moving parts.
  
• Operate metalworking tools such as lathes, drill presses, or grinders to repair or create parts.
  
• Collaborate with team members and assist other mold maintenance technicians.
  
• Comply with 5S policies and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
  
• Completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in mold maintenance or a related specialty.
  
• At least 5 years of experience in mold maintenance or a related field.
  
• Proficient with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
  
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to plan and execute tasks independently or as part of a team.
  

Pay & Schedule:

• Pay: $22–$24/hour, depending on experience.
  
• Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
